I will go into more detail about the full usage of A.i within a creative context in another section of that is currently under construction. It’s a section dedicated to creatives and artists about protecting your mental health while working in our challenging but beautiful field. This in the pipeline.
But for now all I’ll say is that A.i with our strong creative direction and guidance is a brilliant and powerful tool that is just in it's extreme infancy for common use. It has tremendous power and yes dangers but so does a chainsaw. It is just a tool like any other and can be wielded as such. Much like the power tools after the Renaissance, a chisel still gets used. Or machinery and it's changes it created during the industrial revolution. The fears were there then but history now shows us it's massive benefits on the human races propulsion forward.
Artificial intelligence is something that will, can, and is, changing things. Across the board. But for us creatives a positive dimension is that it can and does speed up and refine our work loads to a tremendous degree. I’ve never been a big fan of being stuck over the computer, video or picture editing etc. I could happily pass all that on to an assistant and direct them.
It was always a frustrating usage of time, one I thought could be best allocated somewhere else. That’s why it’s taken this long to start releasing the volumes of writings etc that I have tucked away.
CREATIVE CONTROL
Most if not all artists are perfectionists I would generally say. So for me I’m very strict with the text and creation process when handing it to A i. I use it to help speed up all the processes at the video editing and production side. It means I beautifully get more time to concentrate and do the part that is the heart and soul of the creation. The part (Ai) will never be able to do. For that you need our humanity. Our own energy!
FEAR OF ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE
I know a lot of people are anxious and scared about the ai. People felt the same when the machinery was brought into use during the industrial revolution. But time now let’s us see that that relationship benefited and propelled humanity forward at such an accelerated and successful rate. I do believe we are at another amazing milestone with such a higher level of potential propulsion. Mainly because of its costings and easy availability in the palm of everyone’s hand.
This is a new chapter and one that is going to bring amazing positivity within humanity. Yes there are fears. Big ones that are understandable and healthy. But fear often lays before some of the best things in life.
ABOUT FEAR
Again I’ll talk more about fear in the mental healthcare section of my work. But for now it seems appropriate that I just mention a little bit about it because fear is definitely one of the biggest 'hold back' emotions that we have in life. And fear of putting out our work and vulnerability is what holds us back and murders our passion. Personally it has caused a lot of challenge and frustration not just artistically but in general life. Creativity takes a lot of courage in vulnerability to put your work out, and for that reason a quote that I live by and feel very strongly about is .........................................................................
‘I don’t want my fear of something happening to stop me from truly living.’

CONCLUSION
Using artificial intelligence as an assistant currently feels like a very good and right working relationship. A positive one when maintaining the right balance of directorship and control so as to not dilute any degree of the human creativity.
All of my work always has my complete human edit and sign off.
So as they say, ‘so far so good’ although I do have the Terminator music in the back of my mind as I say that.
For now though, if you’ve made it this far, thank you for your time burrowing into my creative rabbit hole.
Feel free to ping me any thought-provoking questions or comments.
Oh, one last thing. As mentioned Forking art plays host to my expressive poetic and design side to my creativity. Stuff done in humour or thought to contemplate or maybe just poke fun or comment at some things in life. But also as a heterosexual guy sometimes there’s an another side of me that takes over and drifts its way into my work. Ending up in drawings, and imagery based around the beauty of women.
But again the technology has gifted me the ability to put this imagery easily across a whole mixture of goods and print outputs. So feel free to browse the gift shop and gallery below or (CLICK HERE), Order some stuff and share away to all friends and family. Or punt it across to any commercial retail outlets or clothing retailers you know for mass production. It all helps.
All the finances get pumped back into expanding my creative rabbit hole and helping out. But more on all that later.
That is it,
For now.
