‘Colour is evolving into my work!’
“I’ve surrendered in my arguments with colour and now it is definitely muscling into the artistic relationship with a beautiful new dimension. I always wondered when it would grace us with its presence! With mixed feelings I’m pleased to say that a great amount of experimenting is taking place with it and has been over the last few months. This is why there are limited new works at present but they’re very nearly ready to be shown!”

LATEST EXHIBITION-

‘James Whale Fund Anniversary Ball.’ Plaza Park Hotel, London. The event raised vital funds to support the James Whale Fund as it celebrated its 5th Anniversary and continues to work on behalf of kidney cancer patients throughout the UK. LBC Radio presenter James Whale hosted the evening and one of Russell’s original pieces was auctioned and raised £2,800 for the charity. Russell attended alongside hundreds of guests including celebrities from the world of broadcasting and TV. Barts and The London RAG Charity Art Auction
The Great Hall, 09/02/2012 to 09/02/2012 (Time 5.30 -
On the 9th of February 2012 a Silent Art Auction with live Classical Music will be
taking place in the Great Hall of Barts Hospital in aid of The Charity. The evening
aims to raise over £10,000 to purchase two Cystic Fibrosis Vests. Russell will be
attending the event and one of his originals will be auctioned to help the hospital.
The evening starts at 5.30 till 9 and is free entry for all guests.
